HisaBooks is built with open-source software and fonts made by others. This page credits them and names their licences. The licence texts that come with each component still apply.

Checked before release. HISABOOKS PRIVATE LIMITED checks the licence of every third-party component and asset before it goes into a release.

1. Fonts

HisaBooks uses the Inter typeface by The Inter Project Authors, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Source: github.com/rsms/inter.

2. Web JavaScript libraries

The web app includes these libraries for PDF downloads and two-step sign-in setup:

jsPDF, by James Hall, yWorks GmbH and contributors, under the MIT License.
jsPDF AutoTable, by Simon Bengtsson, under the MIT License.
QRCode for JavaScript, by Kazuhiko Arase, under the MIT License.

Each library's copyright and licence notice is kept in the files we serve.

3. Phone and desktop apps

The HisaBooks Business phone app is built with React Native and Expo. The desktop app is built with Electron, which includes Chromium. These, and the open-source packages they use, are licensed mainly under the MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD and ISC licences.

For the full list of packages and licences in a particular app version, email support@hisabooks.com and tell us which app and version you use.

4. Our own logos and screenshots

HisaBooks logos, app icons, screenshots, and product images were made by or for HISABOOKS PRIVATE LIMITED, or are licensed to it. Screenshots show sample data only, never real customer data.

5. Other companies' names

Names such as Stripe, Cloudflare, Expo, and Google Play are used only to describe services we work with. They belong to their owners, and naming them does not mean those companies endorse HisaBooks.
